General
The basics.
What is Browz?
Browz is a desktop app for running many separate browser profiles side by side. Each profile has its own cookies, storage and saved sessions, its own proxy with a matching timezone, and its own browser configuration, so the accounts you keep in different profiles stay apart.
Is Browz an antidetect browser?
It is built for the same job: keeping accounts that should be separate from being tied together by shared storage, a shared IP or a contradictory configuration. We publish what we have measured and what we have not. No browser can promise that a website will never link two accounts, and we do not claim to.
Which proxies does Browz support?
HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxies, with or without credentials. Browz checks each proxy's real exit address and location before you rely on it.
Is Browz free?
Nobody is charged during the private beta. There is a free plan with 5 profiles on your computer, without sync or team features, and paid plans from $4.99 a month: about half the price of AdsPower, Multilogin and Dolphin Anty for the same number of profiles. See pricing for details.
Which computers does it run on?
Mac and Windows. The Mac version (Apple Silicon, M1 or later) is in the private beta now, and the Windows version is joining the beta.
Can I bring my existing profiles?
You can import profiles from a CSV file today. Direct import from other multi-profile tools is in development and will be announced once it has been verified against each one.
Where is my data stored?
On your computer. Profiles and sessions stay on your machine, and proxy credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown again after you save them.
What is Browz not for?
Fraud, taking over accounts you do not own, bulk fake accounts on platforms that forbid them, or evading a ban imposed for abuse. Our acceptable use policy lists these and how we enforce them.
Profiles
Profiles.
How many profiles can I create?
Free includes 5. Pro plans include 20 or 50, and Business plans 100 to 1,000. Enterprise covers more.
Can I import cookies?
Yes. Paste cookies as JSON into a profile and they are applied the next time it starts.
Can I add extensions?
Yes. Add Manifest V3 extensions from a folder, ZIP or CRX file; Browz scans each one so you can review it, then assign it to profiles.
Can I move a profile to another computer?
On a paid plan, sign in to your Browz account on the other computer and your profiles sync there, end-to-end encrypted. You can also export a profile as an encrypted .browzprofile file and restore it.
Proxies and engines
Proxies and engines.
Are SSH tunnels supported?
Not yet. HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 are.
Do you sell proxies?
No. Bring your own from any provider.
Which engine should I use?
The Browz engine for most profiles. Installed Chrome runs your own Google Chrome with fewer controls, and is experimental.
Automation
Automation.
Is there an API?
Yes, a local REST API with about 190 endpoints, a command-line tool and an MCP server. See the developer quickstart.
Can I use Playwright or Puppeteer?
Yes. Start a profile and connect over the Chrome DevTools Protocol to the debug port it returns.
Does the Synchronizer mirror my mouse and keyboard live?
Not yet. It tiles windows and sends one navigation, click or typed text to selected profiles. Live mirroring is coming.
Plans
Plans.
When do paid plans start?
When checkout opens after the beta. Until then nobody is charged. The Free plan does not include sync or team features.
Are team features available?
Yes, on paid plans: a workspace with owners, admins, members and viewers, profiles, folders and proxies shared at view, launch, edit or manage, and an activity log. Pro includes two members; Business, unlimited. The workspace owner’s Browz holds a copy of each member’s account key, so the owner can recover a member and can read everything that member syncs; the server cannot.
